hi everyone!

Need help.

My wife and I applied for spousal sponsorship, and it's going good so far, she just got the request for there medical, within 30 days. The only problem is there is only one Dr in our area and the first appointment is exactly 30 days. Then there's the processing from the clinic that would take up to 2 weeks. The immigration office said that it's ok. We just want to know if anyone else has had this issue. Is it ok or should we travel to another area (6+ hours away) for a quicker appointment?

you can get the meds done anywhere just as long as it is a panel physician listed on the CIC website

I would suggest getting them done as soon as you can tho

As long as you make the VO aware that 30 days is the earliest appointment you can get, they will extend the deadline.

You can also keep in contact with the medical office to see if there are any cancellations before then.
