Hi all,

I had a medical completed for my second WHP Visa less than a year ago. Now I'm applying for permanent residence via spousal sponsorship and I'm wondering if my medical results! used for my WHP, can be used again for PR? Or do I need to schedule another medical?

hey Kevin,

Medical's for PR is different. For PR they will ask you to take x-ray checkup as part of their checklist. Did you do any x-ray test for WHP ?

What that person said. Also, even if you could use them, unless they are really recent you will probably be asked to redo the medical anyways.

Actually it does state if you'd done medicals before(probably in recent times)to include the evidence with your application!....I wouldn't do them again if I were you since a year hasn't passed since you did them last,but would include the receipt!!...If they need you to redo them they'll let you know or if certain amount of time passes after they've received your application then you can just go ahead and do them,that way you'll avoid having to do medicals three times which is not cheap!!!
