Medical exam results???

My husband underwent his medical exam on Monday, ECAS has not updated since Nov 4th and his GC account still has not updated to medical results received. Is this normal? How long does it take for the medical results to be forwarded to CIC?

Normal, it's only been a couple weeks...be patient.

Technically it’s only been 5 days since he underwent his medical exam. We sent his pcc and sched a in last Friday and they emailed back within 4 days to resend sched a due to some missing information. The response time was super quick, however, the medical exam response time is quite slow.

That's not slow at all. Your expectations are way too high. It was about a month for us til it appeared in ecas...you're fine. Lots of waiting in this process.

If he only had his exam a few days ago to expect they have even sent it off is a bit ludicrous..give it time.

I'm not trying to be blunt with you but there's so much waiting. You've got the longest wait yet...you can expect radio silence for months now. It's normal and just part of the process. We're 9 months in...trust me I get it

The second we get our second AOR that papers have been forwarded to VO in Vienna I’ll feel more relaxed

I also just did my medical through Vienna, let us know when they update your status, i will do the same.

No status update in terms of medical exam yet, however we did get 2nd AOR today confirming that our application has been forwarded to VO in Vienna.

I think i received that email not long after they received my application, or does your says it was received by Vienna? No updates on my medical status yet either. Just that they are reviewing the results of my medical exam.

We haven’t checked yet. We did get an email from the panel physician saying they submitted the results yesterday and the same day we received an email from cic saying our application was forwarded to Vienna. Assuming that means they’ve received the results and all is good since they’re continuing with the application.

We just checked and gckey account was updated. It reads “you passed the medical exam”. So I guess it all depends on the physician and how long it takes them to submit the results. Ours were submitted yesterday and cic automatically updated our account and let us know.

Good to hear! i just checked mine but unfortunately they haven't updated the status yet, even through they received mine on Monday
