I am going to work on a internship in a health care setting which is part of program requirement. I would like to get a co-op work permit without conditions. Here is the timeline:

February: received the Port of Entry (POE) letter of introduction for a co-op work permit and did not get a medical exam.
July 22: completed an upfront medical exam for my internship job will be a health care setting.
July 29: received "Information Sheet" that the upfront medical exam was submitted via e-medical to CIC.
July 29: send "Information Sheet" as an attachment via webform
August 9: No updated information about my medical exam results in my application account
August 10: Flight to Canada

If I plan to fly on August 10, will the border services officer be able to issue me the co-op work permit that allow me work in a health care setting?

The following information from CIC help center, however, "The migration officer must see the results in the system to give you the new work permit." Since the results are submitted Via e-medical and I received the confirmation, I am assuming my medical results are in the migration's system; but may not reviewed or approved by their medical reviewers. But does this influence the decision of the border officer?

I want to work in a job that requires a medical exam, but I already have my work permit. What do I do?
If you got a Port of Entry (POE) letter of introduction for an open work permit or if you’ve got an open work permit and didn’t get a medical exam, but you now want to work in a job that requires a medical exam, follow these instructions.

If you haven’t left your country of residence yet
You must:
  • get an “up-front” medical exam
    • This means you’re doing so before a migration officer has asked you to
  • bring proof that you’ve had a medical exam and give it to the border services officer when you enter Canada
    • This is the printed “Information Sheet” you’ll get from the panel physician who performed the medical exam
The border services officer will then be able to adjust the conditions on your work permit before giving it to you.
Note: The results of your medical exam may not appear in the system right away. The migration officer must see the results in the system to give you the new work permit. Exam results are usually processed within 30 days. However, this sometimes takes longer. To confirm if your results are in the system, you may contact your migration office through our web form.

Your medicals might be visible on the system but might not be processed yet. Unless passed, the Officer cannot issue you the new co-op permit. You just have to hope and pray that it's been processed and passed by the time you present to the officer at PoE.
