Medical Exam requested on resubmitted Supervisa 2021 application

Hi,
I applied SuperVisa last year. Recently I reapplied it after option of re-submission on the new portal was released.

New Application Submission: September 22, 2021
Old Medical Examination: November 2020 (UMI number provided in new application)

Today I have received email asking for Medical Examination.
Shouldn't Medical Exam be valid for 12 months?
Has anyone encountered something like this?

No. I am planning to reapply. Did you reapply through GCI key or IRCC link?

No this time I applied through IRCC link

Medical is valid for 1 year but they usually ask for a new medical exam before they will issue a new visa since the previous medical exam will expire soon.

@moonlitnight Have you got PPR? If yes, how many days after medical did you get it?
