Hi . Heres my story.

Im an Jan 12,2018 AOR. Ive still not got my PPR and am hoping to get it before aug-oct.

My question is ive done my medicals in Dec 2018. So they expire in ddec 2019. Considering i get my visa in october, i ve got only 2 months to land in canada.

My question is is there any way i can request CIC to do a re test of medicals so that i can enter canada by say october 2019 considering i do my meds in oct 2018 when i get the visa.

To sum up, is there any way to re do the medical test once you get your Visa post 6 months of AOR

Yes you can request them if the processing takes too long.

CIC or Local Visa office personal will ask you whether to go for medical again or not . Accordingly you plan .
Similar case with as well. They asked us(permission for re-take medical) and requested to go for medical again ... and later provided Visa :)

.

Visa stamping depends on medical expiry date so it is not possible for re-take of medical after visa... . This is according our experience..

1. You don't have to request a new medical, IRCC (if they wish) can extend the present medical if expires shortly after PPR. If they want a new medical, they will request it.
