It says on the basic guide that "All family members, even if they're not going to Canada with you" need to pass a medical exam. Is that just the household family number (The number of family actually living with the PA) or does it mean even the PA's parents, siblings regardless if they live with them or not? Lastly, does that include the sponsor if I'm living with the PA? (Living in the US with my PA as a PR of the US).
My concern is that we do not talk to my spouses' parents or siblings due to their unacceptance of me (We're an LGBT couple) and haven't done so in over a year (We basically gave up and told them both or none...they chose none). Is this something I can explain to the CIC if they request medicals from the PA's parents? Cause there is no physical way we will be able to get them to comply.
Just a bit confused. I don't want to assume anything and want to ensure I am prepared for when the requests come
