How do u give the english version of NIKAH NAMA and birth certificate.
there are authorised english version of both do we still need a translator and an affadavit, when there is no translator hired as such. ?

I believe IMM 1017 is filled by the representative at the physician office. And that consists of basic information like name, address etc. and the rest Dr's info is filled by them.

About Birth certificate i am sure that the local municipal office are now doing in english or if you have urdu copy you can take in to their office and they will translate in to english and if you want you can submit the urdu copy as well. Nikkah Nama you need to translate in to english the composing center has the format and also make sure that the tehsil mufti stamp the english copy same as urdu.

hey all,
i need some help and your expert opinion over my situation.

my husband had applied for my spouse visa in september 2011
meanwhile the visa office has sent me letters to give them some additional documents.
now i have received a letter from them asking me to do my medical examination and also to submit my passport
now i want to ask what does it says about my current status and how much more time they will take to issue me visa?
online status of my applications says:
application received on september 2011
now in-process

is this good news and my wait is over or how much more time it will take?
please guide me..

Sister this seem to be a good news they are asking for remedical as your medical expired and as they are asking PP at the same time, it means the only thing they need is re medical to issue you the visa. Congrat send them Medical and PP as soon as possible

Also please share your complete timeline and what are the extra paper they asked ?

thanks a bunch bro....its such a relief

i submitted my application in september 2011
afterwards i got a letter from them in june 2012 for additional documents (police report, and re send spouse questionnaire, and latest development of our marriage/relationship )
after that i got another letter from them in october 2012 for sending them original nikkah form.
and now i recv this letter in january 2013 for doing my medical and submitting pasport.

thats my timeline and documents they asked me for.

hope and pray all goes well with the grace of Allah and i got my visa really really soon.
need prayers..

hello fhaider, please i want to clarify some thing that ...i have completed my medical with family in one week ago...but i could not get IMM 1017 form from IOM Islamabad........what u suggest i should get this copy from DMP.....I am FSW MI3 and my VO is London........should i get a copy of IMM 1017 and send to London VO........please guide me......
