Medical exam for Permanent residents

Hello,

Can someone tell me if me/my family members can go ahead and do our medicals (applying under CEC category) before submitting our PR application to CIC ?

Before submitting your application? I wouldn't recommend it as medicals are valid for 1 year only - and your landing date is the same date as your medical expiry which gives a very tight timeline, assuming you are even processed in time.
Why would you want to do them before even applying?
