Hi,

Am yet to create my profile and waiting for 1 year completion and I will create my EE profile under CEC this month end. I have got my WES and PCC. However, I have some questions regarding medical exams

1. Can I do upfront medical exam for both me and my spouse before getting into the pool or ITA?
2. Once I receive ITA, is there a time line before which I need to complete my medicals? Currently, the panel physician's available date are only after 3 months in my city.
3. Is it ok if I do my medicals in a different city in the same province? (Ontario) which has medicals available in a month or so

I have read in CIC site that we should complete medicals only after getting the instructions and physicals need to be done in the same city

Any insights would be really helpful

Thanks alot

You can and should do upfront medicals and yes you can do it anywhere in Canada. Upfront helps a lot. Due to covid we are getting 90 days for submission but regular time for submitting documents is 45 days. Also medical is valid for 1 year so I would do it if I were you.

Thank you! Just one more question! Both me and my spouse can do upfront medicals correct? I read as only Primary applicant can do upfront medicals
