Hello,

I received ITA on 4th August 2021. As per the IRCC instructions (link below), If Principal applicant and dependents are outside of Canada, there are not supposed to do the medicals until asked to do so by IRCC

I have heard that the designated institute for medical in my country is conducting a medical examination.

Is it advisable to undergo medicals or is it better to follow the IRCC instructions

Please advice

Depending on your country you can call up the panel physician/hospital and ask them if they are taking up upfront medicals again.

Thank you for your reply

I have emailed them and currently waiting for their reply. I've heard from some people that they are conducting medicals without the request form.

My query is even If they are allowing it, isn't it better to follow IRCC guidelines and wait for their request

I am getting a little worried just because someone said to me that if they are conducting medical and you don't do it now, you might get into troule

The guidelines was during the lockdown...Upfront medicals have resumed in most countries.
If this is the first medical that is being done, upfront can be taken provided it is open in your country.
