Where are you applying from? It depends on the volume of request.
Because nowadays canada embassy in NY is taking long time issue visa for all the category starting from tourist visa.
You should be fine. Try sending them an email or If you apply from US you can try to call canada visa office and get the status.

Just a quick question did you have any travel history? It looks like you got the DM / VISA stamping in 2 months exactly.

Mine i finised 2 months after sending the PP's & medicals done....still waiting for DM status change :-(

I recd medical instructions on 28th May and completed Medicals on 1st June. I can now see the Medical Recd line in my ECAS. Yesterday i filed my docs with VFS so the final countdown begins. Waiting for CHC, Delhi to respond soon.

Yes I applied thru a consultant, don't have any foreign travels, I am from Punjab.

Hi All,

I got my medicals done last friday and I have arranged the PCC as well, I have a concern that my son passport will get expire on April 2014 .

Shall I apply for a new passport for him and then submit the documents or I can submit his old passport as it still has more than 9 months left to expire.

Please advice.
