Dear Vishnuram, Anhhuy

Generally three reasons delay processing.

1) Adding dependent
2) Late PCC submission which makes delay in background check.
3) Not updating the schedule A from age 18.

I am almost 100% sure that you have/had at least one of the above pending.

Relax, things will turn good, when it should be ;D

Thank you for your reasons.

For my case:
- No child added, PCC and Schedule A submitted on time (19/4/2015)
It's 3 months of waiting for PPR after medical result done

Finally got MR :)

I have been coughing a lot for the last week. Now will this have any issue when i go for MR? :-X

Coughing should not be an issue, just take your drug and go for your medicals

Got the PPR!! :D

Quick question - my passport is only valid for 10 months after the medical exam date. How strict are they about this? Thanks!

Also, I just noticed the date on the PPR letter is 26th August although they just sent it to me. Technically, this means I have already missed the 30 day deadline.. now what?!!

Congrats LM2014 send your passport immediately, the passport must be atleast 6 months to expire. and i think that the date on the PPR is not your fault. Hurry up please. Goodluck

Thank you! I'm only worried because the letter says it has to be valid for 12 months from the date of the medical exam. Argh!! Lol

Congratulations dear,
Cough is not an issue...
unless you cough too much in front of the physician...
Drink plenty of water before the medical

Best of luck

Dear
No worries
Preferably you should have renewed the passport before the medical.
My PPR had no date, it said submit in 30 days from the date of correspondence,
and no duration for passport validity was mentioned.

Best option=submit at the earliest.

Best of luck

Can someone tell me how long would it normally take for MR after 4th line update in ECAS? It was updated to 4 lines on 22nd Sep, 15

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 23, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 7, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on March 31, 2015.
4. We transferred your application to the Colombo office on March 14, 2015. The Colombo office may contact you.

It will take approx 20 days..

You will get MR mail & RPRF mail within 20 days...

Keep your fingers cross and check regularly your mail( inbox, junk inbox and spam mail also), as many of people are getting mails in spam mail.

Regards

AMAN

Hi Guys,
We had our Medicals done today. My wife's BP was 138/90. All else was fine. I am somewhat worried that this may cause problems with VO/CIC. Can anybody confirm with prior knowledge whether this is acceptable or will it pose problems for our application?

Also advise if we should email scanned copy of the RPRF, PCC and Medical receipt or should send by courier?

Appreciate your response.
Regards,

Thanks

Calm down mate! As per your wife's BP, CIC uses a threshold of 140/90 without additional tests. So, you should be fine.
