Hi Everyone, back on the forum after a long time... Good to see the forum has EVOLVED

My timeline is below:

Visa Office: NDVO (Changed to WVO) | NOC Code: 2172

Initial App Filed : 29-May-2014 | Rejected/Returned: 15-Oct-2014 | Reapplied: 05-Nov-2014

CC Charged: 08-Jan-2015 | PER: 30-Jan-2015 | AOR: 24-Feb-2015 | SLU: 17-Apr-2015

Med Req: 06-May-2015 | Med Done: 11-May-2015 | Furtherance Request: 29-May-2015 | Re-Med Completed: 13-Aug-2015


My ECAS is in the "new" format, so the traditional TLU of "Medicals have been received" would be 6th line for me. However "Medicals have been received" has not been updated yet even though I have successfully completed re-medicals on 13-Aug and hospital has updated the same on 17-Aug.

My question is: Has anyone in the forum received TLU recently? If yes then when was the medical done? Any thoughts would be helpful.

Until last week (31-Aug-2015) even I had the same old format, however today (2-Sep-2015) it has changed to the new, more detailed format wherein they mention the dates on which some correspondence has been initiated from their office.

My guess is it will change for everyone eventually. However this is just a website update and does not have any affect on our apps.

Can we understand the regional medical office receives our results first and check them.If the results are ok, they will forward it to local VO?
I am ottawa VO and they replied my inquiry confirming they have received my medical results, but there is no update in ECAS until now.
I hope it means my medical results are ok as the doctor also told me everything is normal.
The result was uploaded on Aug.5th. No update makes me nervous now

I think guys who are inside in Canada Try calling CIC and ask about the status. I am trying to call CIC from last few days but unable to connect call..You guys can give a try no harm in that

They might have a regional medical office team who checks the medical. My VO is Warsaw, however I had completed my meds in New Delhi. I have not yet contacted Warsaw VO regarding my medicals but planning to raise a CSE in a couple of days.

"Medicals have been received" has not yet been updated for me on ECAS as well and as per analysis on various forums, a lot of people who have completed medicals in July/Aug are waiting for this update.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hopefully it will happen soon!

Hey all who're waiting for TLU after medicals,

I did my medicals on 19th august, Last week's ecas update stated that they have sent medical instructions on 31st July, but no TLU. So, I emailed BWJ yesterday, and he was kind enough to respond within a day. Here's our correspondence.

With reference to the above-mentioned file number, I would like to seek clarification on my application status. I received medical instructions on the 31st July 2015, and underwent medicals for the whole family on 19th August 2015 at IOM Islamabad. The other requested documents (e.g. RPRF receipt, Police Certificate etc) that were asked for were dispatched through courier on 20th August 2015. However, three days ago, my ECAS status was updated, mentioning the medical instructions issued by your office, but no mention of medicals being updated/received. Kindly inform if this is a regular update, or if your office has not yet received the documents from our side. Do I need to re-send the documents, and what is the current status of my application?


His reply today:

All of your documents, including your medical results, were received.

So, I guess in the new ecas pattern, they may or may not update the standard Medicals Received line. Now I know though that they have received the medicals.

If your travel is after the submission of your application then it is ok.
You do not have to inform them of travels AFTER APLLICATION
