Medical check up...for CEC

Hi,

I have applied for PR under CEC. We are expecting our medical request some where in DEC/JAN-12. But by then we will probabaly leave canada and back to India.

My question is

1. If we leave canada and then can we do our medical check at back home, india ? If yes then do we need to instruct DMP to forward the result to Buffalo office as I heard that DMP in India usually sends medical result to New Delhi only OR New delhi high commission will take care to forward the result to Buffalo.

If any one has the same experience then any information on this perspective is greatly welcomed.

1. Yes, you can do the medical in India. No, the DMPs were instructed to send the results to their Regional Medical Centre in India's case New Delhi. The buffalo retrieves the results on line.

I also wanted to know that ...Actually, after moving back to India and till the point I receive the AOR , I will keep my candian address for communication purpose.

Once I will receive the AOR I will ask to change the address to Indian address.

My questions is that can we receive the medical request along with medical forms in EMAIL ? If I will get in mail , then probably I need to ask some one in Canada to forward the medical forms to India which again take few more days in post..


2. What is the best time to inform the CIC about new address ? after AOR ? or as soon as it happens if it happens before AOR

No, the IMM 1017 is mailed. Once you have the AOR as you don't have a file no. until then.

So AFter AOR let suppose, I request to change the my address then they will send medical forms to Indian address ?

hi duke, yes they are going to send all the documents to your new mailing address once you request to change your mailing address.

by the way guys, a small question...may be silly as well..how do you inform about the change of address to CIC? Do you update is online?
