Hi, does anyone have same situation or know what to do as below described:

I got PPR. But My medical check will be expired in 10 days while my Passport was just mailed to CPC 2 days ago for COPR. Will it impacts my PR approval? If I can get PR approval within a months can I get COPR stamp with an expired medical check?

I couldn’t find related information from IRCC web site, and I am not so sure the correlation betweeen a medical check and CoPR. It will be very appreciated if anyone can share your thought or experience.

Thanks

Hi

The validity of your medical has likely been extended.

Hi Guys,

I need some advice. I got my PPR on 13th november 2017 and i sent the passport next day to Abu dhabi visa office. My medicals were going to expire on 17th nov 2017. Today 28th Jan 2018 I got a message in my CIC account asking me to redo my medicals. I will be giving my medical tomorrow itself. I am now worried what will happen next. If I pass the medical will they give me COPR or will they now do the entire background check etc again? Can someone please advice. They took almost 80 days after getting the PPR to request for a second medical. Please can someone let me know what to expect next.I am quite worried.

Thanks and regards

My medicals were expired for like a month before my PPR request. No issues getting COPR, no issues doing the landing procedure.
Hi, thanks for your post. As your medicals expired prior to PPR, can you please let me know how many days after medicals expiry was your CoPR valid till? Thank you!

Hi Dear,
Please allow me to ask some questions as i have almost the same situation like yours. I received PPR on 21 sep,2018 but my medical is expired on april,2018 so its like 5 months gap, i have already sent them passports within 10 days of PPR, so what do you think will be the expected decision and in your case how many days do they took for COPR or visa stamp, will highly appriciate your reply.Thanx

Hi,
How did the process go? Did you receive a medical request again? How long was the validity of your COPR/Visa from your previous medical? Or did it had a validity of one year from the date of issue? How many days it took to get the Visa? Which visa office and country you applied from? Thanks.

Hi I was wondering what happened after this? my medicals expired 3 months ago and they just received my passport.
Did u have to redo medicals? or did u have a shorter validity for CoPR?

Hi. My medicals expired 3 months ago but I noticed my eprofile updated as well to my Medicals being passed 04 October same date they requested my passport.
There was no email regarding new medicals either. Did you land shortly after release of your CoPR? were you asked about the medicals on landing? or was there anything on the CoPR to note the original expiry of medicals or was this extended? Thanks
