I dont know exactly, thats whats the thingy?
but my agent said to me, that u have to pay landing fees before you fly.
does it mean the same what you said in your last post?

Paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is a requirement to issuance of the Confirmation of Permanent Residence, so it was not included in my list.

It's up to you, but if you are divorced before your visa is issued, then you should update the VO so they may remove your ex-partner from the application. Otherwise, you should indicate that your partner will not accompany you, in which case no RPRF will be due for the non-accompanying partner.

Dear
i came in UK 10 months before from India just for studies. studies are still going on. and now i am called for medical from canadian embassy as case was applied 2 years before with my wife.
I dont want to go India specially for medical and passport submission. I know that i can undergo any medical panel from here. but is there any possibility for passport submission. because its a bit hassel to go India and wait there for 2 months after submission.
please let me know if any chance to submit passport right from UK?

Thanks]
Thomas

You can write letter of authority and send your passports by hand like if someone going to India and if they are willing to take the passports with them. You would have to get your passports same way.

Dear
as I was not having any alternative, so I came to India during Xmas holidays.
I am done with my medical in Dec 2012. And passports with all supporting documents R sent on January 3.
e status...only shows file in process. They have not yet updated about medical and passport received or not.

1. how long are they gonna take, to make decision?
2. I have to go back, for my studies to UK. as i have not got my passport so i can't fly. It is affecting my studies and immigration status?
3.
Is there any alternative of fast processing and to get passports back?
4. I am too much worried about long procedures. Moreover we never know the results of immigration(Canada pr). On the other side I m affecting my studies in UK for which I hv paid huge amount. It affects my immigration status with immigration clearance in UK as well. I can't stay that long in India for this reason.

Thx n regards
Thomas

This forum can guide you on matters related to Canada Immigration. You must decide what you need to do for yourself. Both are 2 different aspects. If you expect quality replies, manage your life and ask for help regarding Immigration. Alternately, seek professional help with a specialist immigration consultant where you meet f-f and decide on your options.

Nobody can predict (1) but NDVO is notorious for asking for passports at the start of the process. They don't demand them, but most people send them. You really don't have to submit it until the end of the process. However, at this point you will need to contact the visa office and advise them you require your passport be returned so you can return to the UK for your studies. If you don't get it back, report it as lost and get a new passport.

Dear
Thanks for reply. But If i LL report as lost. Wouldn't it be cancelled so i LL be given new passport. Then, what about Canadian pr visa. It LL be stamped on lost passport. How LL i get all of my visas on one.
will it not lead confusion.?

You'd need to either present both passports (the "lost" one and the new one") or you'd need to send the new passport to NDVO when the time comes for actually issuing it (or you can have them move the visa from one to the other). If the alternative is losing your investment in your education, it seems worth the hassle when NDVO gets around to approving your application. If you do this, make sure you tell NDVO that you have replaced your passport and will provide it to them at the time they are ready to issue the visa.

Again, this is only if you cannot get them to give it back to you.
