I have applied for PR under FSW on Feb 2010. Got the AOR in May 2010. The E case shows that the VO reviewed my case and started processing on Feb 2012. I got request letter to submit MED +RPRF+ PCC+ Passport in Nov 2012 (this month). I have sent them all they requested for a week back. How long can i expect before i could get the PR Visa. I also wants to know if they are done with my Security and Back Ground clearance.

Hi all,

With respect to the IMM 008 form - under National Identify Document, what have you guys used? Can I use my PAN card details? as I had used the same for initial application; a catch here is PAN does not have an expiry date.

Kindly suggest!

Hello,
For NDVO cases, pl. note that most people under MI-1 who sent PP after MR request about 4-5 months back for visa stamping
are yet to receive them back. Since you have sent your PP in Nov., it might take similar timeframe or more since ppl. who sent PP
earlier (in June-July) will be stamped before us (other things being equal).

every one who have sent their PP in june have already received PP with stamps or query (in one of the case the photo of the child was old) so most of them have already received Maple leave stamps.. at least 3 of whom i knew personally .. so the captioned info is not correct when you said all June applicants waiting for their PP and one of the senior said 4 to 6 weeks it seems that is a correct time frame

A Thread for ALL who have submitted their PP in NOV 2012 please connect and share your experience

I am not having specific detailed info. about how many PPs were sent to NDVO in the past six months under MI-1 and of those, how many have been processed and in what timeframe. If you or anybody else on this forum has all the details then pl. share the same with us. My earlier post merely indicated that ppl. who submitted PP earlier would be processed by NDVO before ppl. submitting Nov. onwards in general. Also remember that sec. checks take approx. 3 months (according to Qorax) after PP submission along with remaining background checks, so according to me 4 to 6 weeks total time at NDVO for MI-1 as stated above for stamping is quite optimistic.

We acknowledge that our office has received your original passport(s) for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing.

This file is currently pending review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as that review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants if any further documentation or information is required.

Please note that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. Rest assured that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant or authorized representative, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.
