Hi Guys,

I am a mechanical engineer from india & my CRS score is 390 only. I tried GT IELTS twice but not able to get 8,7,7,7 & ended up with 8,7,6.5 & 6 in Listening, Reading, Speaking & Writing respectively. Now i am thinking to get it done by Student Visa as i have 7.5 overall in Academic Ielts but chances are low as i have 7 years study gap, i have applied too for offer letter from some reputed universities. I just need some guidance on how can i immigrate? or if someone can list out other options for me.

I will be thankful.

Your time, energy and money are better spent improving IELTS scores than doing masters. Your writing is not bad at all and you can definitely go past 7 with it easily. You can improve speaking by self practice too. Keep practicing and practicing, and you'll definitely succeed. Check for videos and website of ieltsliz. If your basic English is good, you just need to follow correct speaking and writing technique to score high. Check her site, if needed pay and get videos. Keep giving several attempts until you get that score. I'm pretty sure you'll spend lot lesser than trying to go through the whole application and studying Masters. Just try hard and cross the magical 8777 and get your permanent residency.

Another alternative is to seek Provincial Nomination.
