when received line dissapear means 100% file is in local office. first file moves there and then entry is updated on ecase. your case is running smooth u are que for test otherwise RQ is issued same day when receive line dissapear. hope this helps

Thanks for your reply but when I called cic the lady said on friday (day after receve line disappeared) my file was still in sydney!

Not necessarily. No one can exactly relate disappearance of received line to transfer of file to local office. It may imply that some work has done on your file after initial AOR as some applicants have received RQ after disappearance of received line from their e-cas status. In some other cases file stayed at Sydney couple of month after removal of received line.

So don't assume anything sit tight till you receive invite to write the test.

cic-sydney transmit file to local office by online,,,when received line disappeared, it means file is going to be transmitted to local office or if lucky transmit same day. Main thing, background check is done & file is ready to transfer to local office. I think, it depends on local office load of work,,, for some local office like regina, saskatoon ( which are slower mean less manpower to work) take longer time to transfer even rcvd line get disappeared. I think there should be limit of application transferring from sydney to local office. example; saskatoon office has ability to finalize 100 files /month, when they are done with 90files within 20 days , they get 10 more files from sydney, OR if saskatoon office cant finalize 100 files in month, sydney hold new application in queue. So it depends on: how fast is local office. If your local office works fast then file get transferred same day or in few days of rcvd line disapperance.

In my case one week after received line disapear , i got a RQ letter

Did you succeed to gather all documents ? Do you have any idea why you received this RQ?

Already send the documents except the OHIP claim record.
Reason i got RQ could be because i had many travels(12) to USA by road and also i work as a Contract IT worker.

By the way, was the RQ sent by local office or Sydney? Did you have any indication (during your calls to CIC call center) that you might receive this RQ?
