Me and my wife just graduated from journalism. I have more than 8 years working on the industry. I also lived and studied in Canada (long story) Checking my express entry rating, I go around 97 out of 100 sort of. I believe I can get a job offer from Canada.

The question is, what is the case with my wife? Does she need to apply the same way I do, or I can do it as a whole within my application? She is also a professional but her english is not so good yet. She has 1 year experience working on a newspaper. Does she need to have a perfect english and a job offer to go to Canada? We want to leave together. I want to see what are her options.

Thank you for the support and answers.

You include your spouse as a dependent in your application where you are the principal applicant.
She can take the IELTS, but the passing mark for spouses isn't too high.

How high is it for wives? I dont think she can reach the 69 % needed.

Hi,
You can get maximum 20 points for your spouse's language proficiency. There are 0 points if their score falls below CLB 4 level. That's all. It is not an eligibility requirement - just that you'll get fewer points.
