Hello everyone,

I have offers from these universities and I am finding it really hard to decide. Please help me cos I am running out of time.

Carleton University - MEng : Technology Innovation Management [2 years] [$ 35000]

Saint Mary's University - Master of Technology Entrepreneurship & Innovation [16-20 months] [$ 25000]

McMaster University - Master of Engineering Entrepreneurship & Innovation [20 months] [$ 60000]

Could everyone please pour in your suggestions? I would be extremely grateful for your support. Kindly share any information relevant. Thanks.

How can you compare these universities man? McMaster should be your choice. Do you know how hard it is to get admission in Mcmaster? Blindly accept Mcmaster.

Lol yea.

mcmaster is a good and exp.

if u can afford it go for it.

Go for mcmaster if you can afford it.

Thanks for the replies everyone..Extremely sorry for being late to the discussion which i raised myself.

It turns out that I won't be able to afford the McMaster tuition fee. :( Its extremely high & they have no options for scholarships as well.

So the only options left with me are Carleton University in Ottawa & Saint Mary's University in Halifax. I also have an option to go to George Brown College for the Information Systems Business Analysis program [1 year] [$ 22000].

Which one would you suggest me to pick, considering job prospects, quality of education, ROI, average starting salary and all other aspects that I should really look into before jumping to any decision?? Thanks..

Carleton all the way because 1) its best option you have 2) i am also going there :)
GBC is out of the list dude.

Dont drop such good unis and goto a coll

thats like driving a broken car when u have a lamborghini :-[

Hope you decide wisely.

good luck.

So i am cancelling the GBC offer..Not looking back anymore...Thanks Propain for that lamborghini suggestion ;D ...

Congratz lovedeepsingh on receiving your offer from Carleton..

Cant afford McMaster because of the high tuition fee..Feeling really low about that.. :'(

Anyways, I still have 2 good options, although not at par with McMaster's reputation.

Boils down to Carleton & Saint Mary's. Its getting really hard to decide. I have heard from a few people that Carleton's reputation among employers isnt that good, considering there is a huge no of reputed universities in Ontario. On the contrary, Saint Mary's in halifax is one of the top schools in that region.

My question to all of you guys...Carleton vs Saint Mary's? which one should i go for? & Why? Some pros & cons can really help me decide between the two..

Well as far as I know carleton is way better bro

u cud check 4icu.ca also alongside and wait for some guys from these unis to reply.

If I was u id go for carleton

cheers

Thanks Propain for your suggestion...

There isn't much information available on these universities i suppose except for the usual ones I found quite earlier when I was researching on the programs..I wanted 1st hand information from members here.

Anymore suggestions please. Expecting at least a few more. :-\

I would go for carleton as Ontario offers a lot of job opportunity and also it;s near the main town center.

It seems like most people would prefer Carleton..Anyone from Carleton or goin to Carleton this fall, please share any relevant information or experiences. Help a novice decide better. :P
