mcmaster/UOW/Calgary/UBC When will they reply back its april end

When does waterloo,calgary,UBC and McMaster reply for admission related to Electrical and Computer Engineering for fall 13??? Its already April 20... Any idea????? Anyone got their admits for this fall for ECE from any of the mentioned universities?

i applied in waterloo,calgary,western and newbrunswick for meng ece...got into the later 2...still waiting fr calgary n looo..wats ur profile arun?

I applied to UoW,Calgary,UBC and Mcmaster........prev year one guy with 78% got into McMaster so I was sure I might have a chance....I applied on first week of jan and sent my ielts score sheet on first week on feb......it took around 3 weeks to reach so all documents they might have got by march

You are right about the competition for canadian univs this year. When I went to a global fair (in February last), there were only 5 canadian univs, more than 25 US univs and around 15 UK univs... but u know what... more than 60% students first choice was canada.
BTW I think, McMaster will reply you very soon, coz its been more than 2 months already,,, no worries hope we all get our desired universities... best of luck. and do inform us when you get the results

Ya def ll inform.............. most of the top univ in Canada doesn't even attend fairs because they know that they ll top get students no matter what!!!!!!!!!UK is in huge trouble now..........top univ like univ of manchester,Southampton is still not yet finished with its admission. :-\

I am a UW Alumni I suggest go for UW great little town, nice environment and vibe on campus. No distractions in a big city like toronto or vancouver and not expensive either like T.O. But expect alot of chinese in UW sometimes I used to feel like I am studying in china! I can answer some questions related to UW/Ontario universities if you have any. Btw, some of you are wondering when will you get acceptance letters..I'd say start praying...anytime now..I think I got one towards end of april or first week of May can't remember it was way back in 05. anyways best of luck to you all and I am around if you have any ques!

finally after mailing to McMaster graduate co-ordinator , I came to know McMaster did not accept me for Meng ECE for fall 2013.....And guess what she had mailed on 20th march and I came to know about it today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-[

Yup it seems they have not updated it on the online portal.......So I guess they sent mail directly and I did not get their mail........Now with McMaster gone my chances of going to Canada this fall are over.......UBC, UOW ll def reject me.....Calgary requires 7 band in ielts and I have submitted with 6.5 so again chances of rejection are more..........Good luck to others....... I ll look for alternatives!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But dont loose hope brother, u still have chance to go to canada this Fall. Actually University of Windsor and Carleton Universities are still accepting applications.
1. Carleton is accepting application for admission and funding if space available.
2. Windsor is accepting application for admission and funding till May1.
Apply to them dude, dont waste one year just becoz mcmaster rejected you.
I got rejected by UBC, Alberta. Now Carleton is my last hope and I am planning to apply to Windsor coz having an option is a good idea.
