Anyone from India going to McMaster University for sep 2013 ? I got into McMaster University and University of Ottawa. Confused?? Which one to select??
It is very selective university, the professors pick students (for Meng as well). They may consider your GRE scores, projects, and many other factors. However, the main factor is academics.arun_kumar said:I dunno y McMaster rejected me. I have 80% in bachelor but still got rejected. Have you got work experience????????????

If there are a large number of applicants with overall good profile , it gets competitive and seats are less, not more than 20.
Hope you get into other university, all the best!!
Yup I think 20 is actually more . Maximum international students in any university (except one or two) for any branch is 15-25. and I think McMaster will choose even less.raunaq123 said:20????Really? Is it for Electrical and Computer Engineering too ?
Why will McMaster choose less? 5-10 international students? Don't they want the high $$$$ of international students?arun_kumar said:Yup I think 20 is actually more . If everyone will start thinking of $$$, then how domestic student will get chance in University?ultra99 said:Why will McMaster choose less? 5-10 international students? Don't they want the high $$$$ of international students?
ya, good point! Is McMaster a reputable name in Canada and worldwide? It's not as famous a UofT, UBC, McGill.aman singh said:If everyone will start thinking of $$$, then how domestic student will get chance in University?
