McGill and Concordia Jan 2016 Admission for graduate

Is there anyone who has already been accepted by either university now? How long have you waited for the offer after you submitted the application?

I applied for M.Eng for McGill at the end of July and the other one at the end of Aug.

in mcgill, does your program requires supervisor too? in which dept u have applied?

In McGill, no mention for the supervisor. I applied for the Mechanical engineering.

well if your profile qualifies for the admission, it might take 15 to 20 days. i applied last term in a non thesis course in which i submitted and completed the checklist till 23 march n i got offer on 15 april. your's too is a non thesis course?

For McGill, I applied for non-thesis as well as thesis based program. Now it's already one month after the check list completed.

Do you have any idea of Concordia?

Hey,

I had contacted concordia university last week, this is the reply i got

Hi, We're definitely still within the normal time frame, which could be eight weeks or more from the deadline for applications to be submitted.

Since july was the deadline, they will take 8 or more weeks from the deadline day to start sending out decisions.

I feel they will start rolling out offers from next month and by first by week of November it should be completed.

i applied in Mcgill in M.Sc in bioresource engineering( thesis based) but i couldn't secure a supervisor so the program director suggested for non thesis. so went in that direction. my profile is
10 88%
12 80%
b.e in biomedical engineering 79% (3.7 cgpa according to uni conversion)
no ilets cause my whole education was in english medium. i presented the letter from my university.

i have applied again for winter 2016 in M.Engg in bio-med engineering. waiting for the offer letter

76% in undergraduate food science
IELTS: 7.0
MBA:3.70Cgpa pakistan
Work experience: 1 year in food industry

your chances are pretty good cause i also got such kinda message last semester for non thesis program and then got admission too. i wish u best of luck.
