MBA in Canada after Btech in India...Visa Chances?

Hey guys I am a B.tech Environmental engineer with 1.5 year work ex ..I wish to go for VIU MBA fall 2014.. However from reserach on net and other sources I have gained the impression that there are low chances of getting a Visa as I am not from business background(I can justify in my SOP reasons for MBA and linkage of my present work ex with MBA).I wish to shift into management now and do not wish to pursue further education in my field..please Seniors and other forum members, any one who has faced a similar dilemma in the past, kindly guide me in this matter..Thanks

You can try your luck as i have seen many people going for mba after btech ..Its not a total mismatch of careers ..Write a strong SOP stating the reason of this shift in career..Goodluck

Your chances rae gonna be slim but a gud SOP can get u the visa. Best of Luck 8)
