MBA from IIM Indore

Hi,

I have done my PGDM from IIM Indore in 2010.

Can anyone please tell me if it will be considered as Master's equivalent for Canadian PR or not ?

In my opinion, no they would not. Its a POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA not a MASTERS.

But then again, most people know about the IIM's and they might consider, since its the most coveted DEGREE in INDIA and you belong to the lucky few. But logically they wont consider it a masters.

Just my 2 cents, I am no expert though.

I did have a look in the link, but i couldnt find PGDM nor the IIMS listed. Weird, but IITs are listed.

Don't know what the problem is.

Does WES really not recognize the most premier institute in India ? That's blasphemy.

I'm from IIM Indore and did evaluation in Jul/Aug-14.

It will be considered as Masters. Telling from own experience of ECA from WES.

I have done PGDM from IIM-A. (The 2 year course). WES qualified it as 2 year Masters degree.
