Hi WhiteSpace,

I didn't get my book for a long time as well, my test is also on Jan. 30, but decided to start studying online. Not sure if you already got this link from the forum or not but here is a link to different forms of the book, Discover Canada, the only guide you are supposed to study off of:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/discover/

People on this forum have suggested that reading the book a few times and studying online is the way to go. Here are a couple of tests that I use to study my knowledge:

http://v-soul.com/onlinetest/
http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/new-to-canada/citizenship.jsp
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

I've also seen that people study via listening to the audio version of the book (also available on the link I provided above to Discover Canada formats).

Good luck!
good

I just read your message. I had the exam the same date. I passed the exam but they ask for translation to the stamps. I already submitted one before but they want to the new ones!! I already submitted the second translation. How was your exam? Does anybody know how long usually I have to wait after resubmitting the translation?

Please confirm if you wrote test on June 12 at Mississauga office. I have similar timeline and had test scheduled on same day but they cancelled via phone voicemessage. I called back call centre and they confirmed test was cancelled and there is no reason/comments updated. Since then I called two times and there is no new date and there is no reason or comments updated.

There is no same day Oath at Mississauga office, instead expect delay of 15 to 60 days for Oath. Right now Mississauga looks slowest of all.

Hello everyone,
I'm a may 2014 applicant from mississauga my ecas only has 3 lines and it's been a year now since they started processing
My file on July 28, 2014
Does anyone here has the same issue or any updates from them?
It's very frustrating to see ppl from 2015 got their test and oath as well
How does the cic deal with that? And how come the new processing time is pretty fast people only wait 4 month then their citizenship journey is over

Hi All,

Today I received a letter inviting for the citizenship test on Sept 18 in Mississauga. eCAS is also updated to reflect the same.

Now it is the time for focussed studying for the test :-)

All the best for others who got their test invite letters as well as those who are waiting.

The letter states that I should be prepared to spend 4-5 hours on the day of test. Has anyone taken an oath on the same day after the test in Mississauga?

Thanks
C Lad

Path is over.

Ceremony was last week... except for passports, I will *never* deal with CIC again.

Hi Farnardo,

Did you get RQ after your file was transferred to Mississauga office?

I did and submitted my RQ in November 2014.

Thanks
C Lad

I was never asked for RQ but i finally contacted my mp office and they required about my application
Cic told them that my file is in que for test date and to expect it within 2 to 4 month.
At some point its good news but why the long wait for the test
