I received a letter from CIC to provide Proof of Non-Permanent Resident time for my wife. They have asked for Passport stamps or Letter of Employment (She was not working at that time).

So I was thinking to scan the full passport and send it or shall I send the specific pages. Any suggestions?

if i were you, i would do all the pages.

Hi guys,

My received time disappeared sometime last week. I just noticed. Hopefully, this means something good is going to happen to all of us.

Best,

They asked for copy of passport stamp. It is not necessary to send copy of whole passport. Send them copy of biological pages and stamps.

When you enter into Canada Via Road they don't stamp your passport.. Will that be a problem? I mentioned this in response to cross validate it with CBSA if required.

They will if you ask them to (you just explain that you need a record of entry for your Citizenship application). We asked them to with our land entries. :)

Hi I have passed my citizenship application today in Scarborough office, Does anyone have idea how long does it take for oath and ceremony?
Thanks.

Hi Friends,

AT LAST, My Received Line disappeared today. May be something might have happened at the back end I believe.

As per the trend we see in this forum, My application might have been transferred to Local Office...

Some movement is better than "Complete Dullness".

WE LOVE CANADA,
Congratulations
Did you get yr test invite after the receive line disappear? Have they updated yr ecas with the test invite?

Hi Faith-full,

I haven't received any test invite. My Ecas didn't have any Test Invite details. Actually received line disappearance mostly means Transfer to Local office. It again takes time from there to get test invite.

Some people like SenoritaBella only has that kind of luck... ;D . Just kidding. We have to wait....

Hi Guys,

I received a test invite yesterday :) My ecas didn't change at all. I just checked just now.

Here is my timeline:

Received Application : May 26th
In process: July 22nd
Received Line Dissapearance : September 16th
Test Invite Issued and Printed on : October 28
Received Invite: October 29
Test : November 12 (Missisauga Office)

Called CIC and was told that file has been tranferred to local office - Scarborough.
Does this means that all checks have been completed successfully and I will get a test invite?
