cic updates ecas every tuesday so check it once a week on wednesdays

This is what they claim -- but a couple years back when we were doing the PR, they didn't follow it. I'd suggest checking periodically but not trusting that "Tuesday" business.

Especially next week. They won't be updating it on Tuesday next week.

Ekaramad, expect a letter anythime soon as CIC is presently opening applications from the 1st week in May. Confirmed by CIC.

Still nothing on ecas, my application was received by CIC on May 5th. Can't wait ;D

Interesting. Mine was also received on May 5th as I just checked. Let's see if our time lines are similar.

Our eCas became active today.

It doesn't show anything about the Citizenship application (only the 4-year old PR one), but today is the first time it's shown anything since we sent in the Citizenship app.

Same for me, but I sent in my application about a month earlier than you did though.

I just noticed something strange/interesting(?) on my ecas. My ecas is now showing my PR application information from years ago.??? It was never there. Hmm.... does anyone else have this kind of "update"? I wonder if they meant to update my citizenship app instead? Very strange.

I sent two applications:

1st application sent May 5th, received May 7th (this is according to an email Canada post forwarded to me from CPC - Sydney. They never got a signature so I have no clear idea).

2nd application sent May 14th(by Fedex), received May 15th (sent a cover letter explaining situation abive, asked them to send back one application and included a waybill).

So I don't really know which application has been opened or will be processed. LOL My office will be Halifax.
