yep there sure is lots of load...
like i am fall applicant and applied in jan the 8th, my file reached on 10th jan.. right.. one of my friend send his file on 10th and his file reached on 11th..
and the file number difference b/w mine and his application is 73...means 72 applications for study visa /day..

How do u guys get your file no if Medicals are not sent yet. Umar do u know CHC sends medical form again for those who did not get visa first time and applied again second time. My refusal reason was not a typical one but some explanation was missing from my documents presented. So I'm not sure if they send me medical form again or will make a final decision on my case.

hi.
u can send a case specific enquiry with ur name and date of birth and ask them for ur file number, thats how u get ur file number. and about medical.
medical is valid for one year. if ur medical was within last one year u wont be asked for medical again.
i applied and got my visa last year but due to some problems coutnot go. i have applied again. but wont be taking medicals again. as they are valid for one year..

Thank you so much for your informative reply. Yes I applied for January 2011 earlier so that means they will not send me Medicals again. Where Can I find this information on CIC website? So I guess file number will remain the same as well. I know my file number, it was written on medical instructions form that they sent my earlier

I applied for winter session but was refused because of missing info . How will they know that my Medicals were done previously if file number was going to be allocated different. Should I ask for my file number or should I quote my previous file number while enquiring on my email corresspondence

everytime u apply ur number will change.. how they keep track of ur diffrent apps is by a totally diffrent number. Thats UCI. u dont need to go into details of that..
rest assured they will find ur previous medicals and associate them with ur new app.
as far as case specific enquiry is concerned u just have to ask them about ur app file no. and its status.

Thanks Umar. I was kind of worried that I did not get my medical request yet. Been 27 days. Earlier I got my medical request in13days. So my problem is cleared up now. That's why I signed up on the forum . Classess start from may 5. So I should hear something by mid April . I think I will wait for one more month without disturbing them.

Hi friends....I am from Pakistan. and I was reached in Canada Fall 2010...
when i apply for visa,this forum help me too much....we make 9 Pakistani friends at this forum for visa processing....
8 out of 9 got their visa due to good preparation in file documentation.....
one is refused because he had applied in Qatar but he is Pakistani friend.
so we are all in Canada. After 6 month I open my account again ......if you need help and question about visa then you can ask me......
