Please guide.

There was a confusion that I would like someone to address here so that many people can get a clear guidance. For proof of funds, do we have to show the amount continuously for 4-6 months in our account or we should have the required amount (Tuition fee+10,000 CAD) in the account while applying for Study permit?

Thank you for that input !
i have a few things to clarify

1. Few 1 year courses have 2 semester while few courses have 3 semester duration. is there any difference in terms of work permit?
2. In case i decide to study 2 courses of 1 year each. what would be the best timeline to go forward with? Can i finish the first course take a break and then apply for the second course or should there be no gaps between the courses to gain 3 years work permit?
3. can someone give me more insight on "proof of funds"

Thanks a ton for your time!!

Even if you secure loa from any college, you won't be granted your visa.
It is pretty clear that the study of post-12th-grade certificate won't help you in any way to progress further after bachelors degree. Good luck convincing the visa officer regarding the same.
My advice would be either search for 2 year pg diploma or study 2 programs of 1 year each. Let me know if you want to know anything else.

1.it is determined by institute whether the course academic year consists of 2 sem or 3 sem most probably every college has 2 semester of 4 month each that lead to 1 academic year and considered by IRCC while issuing PGWP.
2. yes U CAn take 2 courses and the gap between those two courses must be less than 150 days and u must have a graduation letter from 1st institute and LOA from the 2nd one.
3. i deem u r from India and we come under SDS So u only need to pay 1 year fee and GIC of 10000 CAD. these are enough for proof of funds more than these are always better.
best of luck

Just an add- on to the excellent response by Akshay.
If you go for 3 Sem course then you need another 1sem to be eligible for 3 year work permit. Some colleges do allow that.

Hey, if you pay the tuition fees in one college to confirm your spot, can you cancel it later if you get into a better college and get the refund?

You can get it later but they will deduct a heavy portion as cancellation fees. Only if you have failed to get your visa will they take only a small administrative fee. Only pay your fees if you are 200% committed to that college.

Checking in. I received my acceptance letter today from Humber for Business Marketing which was my first choice, now I've changed my mind due to the length of the program. I haven't received an offer letter for my second and third choice. Has any one that received an offer letter got one foir their second and third choice too?

You will not get offer for your second and third choice if you have been accepted for your first choice.

You have two options, either contact them and see if they will revoke this offer letter and go for your second or third choice.

Or you could apply again for the program of your choice. You will have to pay application fees again.

I am assuming you are talking about the diploma program, 4 semesters seems to be a decent amount of time. What is the issue you are facing ?

Also what are your second and third choices ?
