May be unable to obtain letter of recommendation, is this good enough?

My manager was supposed to be writing me a letter of recommendation for my work visa since the Buffalo site in the United States says I need one here. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/washington/imm/permit_work-travail_permis.aspx?lang=eng#REQUIR

4) An original letter of reference from your current employer describing your job duties, length of service and salary.

Since he doesn't work anymore days this week and I plan on submitting my application Friday, I was wondering if two copies (or originals) of my paycheck stubs with all the sensitive info blacked out, from the first week I worked and my most recent one from last week would suffice? Also I can print out a copy of my work info from my job's website for employees, listing my salary, job description, name, and work history and then have my manager sign that. Would that be good enough also if I sent them both in lieu of an actual reference letter since I don't think my manager is going to come through on his end of the bargain before Friday.

I would wait on submitting your application until your boss can fulfill this requirement.

I got it from him yesterday. But I still sent the extra info as well.
