I m booking my tickets for canada! Jus wondering can i book a ticket which has 7 hours stay in America and then canada, do i need to have visa for america as well eveb if i m not leaving the airport.

You can’t board a US bound flight if you don’t have a valid US visa irrespective of the fact that you have the visa of the onward destination. US doesn’t give transit visa apart for seamen.. as far as I think. So please don’t book a flight which has stopover there.

I am not sure where it is processed as I mentioned my brother submitted online so lets wait for the letter once he will wake up he will send may be there its mentioned

What ties did you show for country of residence if you don’t mind me asking?
Country of residence I show only residence visa and permit along with leave letter salary certificate bank statement of approx 13k aed from here.
For my wife nothing we show only we mentioned as she is studying and due for exams in year end. In indiawith her bank statement and letter from bank of approx $8k
One thing I will add that I went to canada in 2011 for atudy visa but left country within 1 year legally due to personal reasons and they alloted me same UCI.

You will get decison before to me. Because they recreate my file due to administrive reason so maybe it will take again more time. You know "After Tunnel There is a Bright Light"Hope so it will happen in our case lolz☺☺
