You have to fill up a form and request for CAN+ processing, which I did not fyi, so kindly refrain from making assumptions.
Please read the conditions and process of CAN+ and then react.

Well,i’m Not assuming.you yourself mentioned that you have valid Us visa.With Valid Us visa ,proper documents nd luck you got your approval.otherwise I haven’t came across someone with indian passport getting canada trv approval in 24 hours without their application being considered under CAN+.

Sorry, I'm a newbie.

You have to make a request in the covering letter if you wish to be considered under CAN+.
Discretion is with the Embassy....depending on the workload, applications are considered.
Timelines are seldom adhered to, as is evident from the Forums on this website.....otherwise we all would not be here.

dint receive an email, checked account and there it was updated (I check account 3 times daily )

Ideally I should have received the email as the earlier status said ""we will send a message once we start the review"

As per my experience, we received the email one day after they posted the update on the website.

hopefully not, already VO slept on my application to begin the review for 20 days; date of online application is 14 May.
