Just called CIC at 1-888-242-2100, pretty helpful information. Thanks @KiranK

1. Medicals passed but for whatever reason its not reflected in my profile.

2. Criminality check in progress.

3. Haven't begun eligibility and security check yet.

Important conclusion: even though the BGC in my profile reads "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." I am still in IP1. So a word of advice to everyone, IP1 / IP2 cannot be discerned just based on the wordings in your profile. Instead rely on GCMS notes (that takes a month to arrive) or call CIC directly (apparently only for applicants within Canada) to find out. Now atleast I know I am in IP1 so need to sit back and relax as CIC will move on my application at its own pace.

Peace out and good luck to all !

This info totally broke my heart as now i dnt even differ if i am in IP1 or IP2,,, i was waiting for the golden email now all the hopes are just gone!

It is apparent from your timeline that you are in IP2, don't worry. Wait for the golden e-mail dear.

Happy to help dear:)
As you are a PNP applicant, I suggest you check the following link for timelines related to yours, as PNP timelines are very slow as compared to other streams, it takes 100-120 days for PNP to pass medicals and IP1 -
https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/pnp-outland-e-apr-tracker (check this if you are PNP outland)
https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/pnp-inland-e-apr-tracker (check this if you are PNP inland)

Don't worry Sam, this is normal. If you wish to be sure, you can e-mail them to know your Visa Office and status of application, maybe you get the approved message back:)
I sent a mail, but asked only about visa office! *bummer* *facepalm*
