Also I am wondering if CIC can provide an extension for PPR request. The prob is I am in the middle of sea and nearest port I will be docking in is In august end. I am anxious if I get PPR sooner I wouldnt be in a position to submit my passport on time!

Yes, you can ask CIC to extend your deadline once you get the PPR. Don't worry about that.

I have a question. The rprf email request states that my eligibility and admissibility review is still under process.
Is receiving rprf a positive sign at all??

If someone can shed some light on this I would be highly obliged

In the same boat mate... RPRF request 21/07 paid 24/07 .. My letter says "We have begun processing your application for permanent residence and in order to make a decision we need require you to pay RPRF ...etc" ... My BG status is still NA...

It says "The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa."

Is it PPR?

You can update after returning (new travel history with entry/exit stamps) via raising CSE.

Interesting thing to note is that my BGC as gone to IP2 today along with my PPR
