Applicants by Stream:
*The share of PNP has decreased from 40% in Jan 2017, to ~9% in May. I would expect it to grow to 15% as there were a lot of OINP and NSNP nominations recently.

Passport Request by day in July:

Statuses by the month of submission up to date:
*We had seen a lot of PNP-Inland from January getting PPRs last two weeks, it allowed January to clear up to ~75%. However, still a lot of waiting. We can clearly see that the target of 80% within 6 months had been missed by CIC for January applicants, and partially for February.

Statuses by day of submission for January:
*Remember 40% are PNP applicants, they are currently being processed, 90% of PPRS for jan past two weeks were for PNP applicants.

Statuses by day of submission for February:
*The most quiet months as of now, almost PPRs reported in last two weeks (or rather only few)

Statuses by day of submission for March:

Statuses by day of submission for April:
*April had seen quite a big number of PPRs in the past two weeks.

Statuses by day of submission for May:
*May has been steadily progressing too. A lot of PPRs, almost all FSW-O.

Statuses by day of submission for June:
*Medicals being cleared really quickly for June and July applicants. Even some quick PPRs had been reported for June.

Statuses by day of submission for July:
*Medicals being cleared really quickly for June and July applicants.

Dear All,
My status went from "Your application is in progress. We will tell you when we will start your background check" to "Not Applicable" on 23rd June. I want to know that is this status "Not Started->Not Applicable" or "In Progress(1) -> Not Applicable"??
As far as i know, IP status is when they say "We are processing your backgroundcheck". Someone here is saying that "We are processing your aoplication..... " is also IP. Plz help me regarding this.
Mate: Your current status says : Refused .....May be it is a typo ??

Hi,
I need to provide additional docs and given one month time period. I will be able to provide one but might need few more days as grace period.
Is it possible if CIC extends this period if I provide valid proof?
And how to ask for grace period thru letter of explanation or cse?

Thanks
Any idea if CIC extends time period?

Nope. Still waiting.
I'm inland applicant and it seems that the processing time for us is slightly longer than for those who applied outside of Canada.
Will let you know if anything changes.

Does CIC normally send emails on Saturday/Sunday?
Saturday morning e-mail do come, but haven't seen a case of sunday.
Expect an update on tuesday now , if your outside North America.

Was the subject of e-mail, "Ready for Visa"
Then yes it is your PPR e-mail, congratulations.
Get your Passport, copy of that e-mail, 2 photographs and go to your nearest VFS and submit. Stop worrying and start celebrating and packing now:D
