Hi there!
I am PNP with 3rd May AOR.
No update whats so ever!
Still waiting for the file to be touched!!
No UCI yet.

Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing. Update me once you get your PPR. Is it dependent on country of residence?
Yes, it is, also on . stream here, CEC applicants have faster processing post medicals as compared to FSW O, many May CEC have already got PPRs, but no FSWO yet.

PNP guys its taking 100-120 days on average to pass medicals for you guys, so I guess your only option is to wait here. No worries you are normal as far as your stream timelines are concerned. Its frustrating but who can question CIC.

FSW Outland
ITA - 1 March 2017
AOR - 14 May 2017
Medicals Passed checked on - 28 June 2017
BCG on 28th June - Changed from NA to "Application In progress, we will send you a message when we start your BCG"
BCG changed to "Not Applicable" - 28 June 2017

Any idea if my IP1 is done? Could never understand the correct flow from BCG "NA" to "IP2"

Also please add me to the WA group.
Yes your IP1 is done, Your file must have proceeded to criminality and eligibility checks now.

Any idea what they do in IP1 and IP2?

This fellow on another thread sums it up best:

IP 2 stands for In Progress 2. It refers to the starting of second background check of your application, after your AOR and IP 1 respectively.
At IP 2 stage (which mostly happens at your local visa office-LVO) your application gets checked for eligibility, i.e that whether the information provided by you is correct, you meet all the requirements of the stream you are applying for. You have legitimate work experience under the NOC you have claimed. Your CRS score is correctly calculated. Your education documents are in order. They check your background for criminality and security, to determine you are no threat to Canada. They basically at this stage check that each and every information provided by you is correct or not and that whether you have all qualifications and credentials that you have claimed in your application.
The application process in most cases follows this sequence-
AOR (acknowledgement of receipt)----> Medicals Passed---> IP 1 (Background in progress 1, here your application is checked for completeness i.e that you have attached all documents required by CIC correctly or not, also refereed to as R10 check)---> IP 2--->PPR (passport request)---->CoPR

Sometimes, your background check (IP 1) can change before medicals are passed, but over all both IP 1 and medicals go side by side independent of each other.

Any idea what they do in IP1 and IP2?
Yes,
Our application mostly proceed in this way AOR>Medical Pass>IP1>NA>IP2>PPR.
Till IP1 to NA- They check your documents to be complete (not quality only quantitatively), this is the R10 check for completeness of documents. Most candidates get refused in between this stage due to missing documents.

From NA to IP2- It is speculated that in this period our criminality and eligibility is checked and if passed then security check is started. This stage lasts for 15-35 days. May be more or less depending on individual case.

IP2- This is the final stage and lasts upto 1-15 days for normal cases. At this stage the Visa Officer finalises our eligibility for one last time, finalises security pass and then PPR is issued. Most candidates receive employment verification call at this stage, as sometimes either due to some doubt or due to random quality checks, Visa Officer wants to be sure of the employment.

Thanks for sharing. What are your timelines? Did you get RPRF req?
Hi, timeline as follows:

AOR: 5 May, 2017
Medicals Passed: 1 June, 2017
BG to IP(1): 1 June, 2017
BG to NA: 6 June, 2017
RPRF Request: 30 June, 2017
BG to IP(2): 4 July, 2017

Paid the RPRF on the same day that the request came in for it, been almost 12 days now, hoping that the application gets approved and that I get that PPR soon. What's your timeline?

In my case they have asked me to pay RPRF which i paid yesterday and my BGC is in NA2 stage. So do you think they will take some more days again to check my docs, eligibility, etc.?

AOR: 13-May-2017

Medical Passed: 28-June-2017

Background Check changed from NA1 to IP1 and then to NA2 on 28-June-2017. Since then its NA2 only.

Required Docs status earlier was "we are reviewing your docs" but on 10-July status "we don't need additional docs"

After attaching the proof of RPRF fees the required docs status changed again to "we are reviewing your additional docs"

RPRF requested: 11-July-2017

RPRF paid: 11-July-2017

No no RPRF is a good sign, it means they already are close to passing eligibility, you should be getting IP2 soon.
