I would like to chill you guys out. In fact, as one of applicant, I feel the same with you.
but, CIC has posted 6 months time frame, which is comparably short with other categories.
We can plan out things after 6 months.

I am currently working in immigration related field, and it tends to be delayed during the summer time.
It won't do anything more than dragging other categories.
I think the main issue is number of immigration offers, although the number of application was dramatically increased.

We are still in reasonable time frame, so let's chill out and wait for the good news.

Same here.

I did other person's application and it was approved before me!! lol
On the other hand, I saw some cases delayed significantly for some reasons, too.

Good news is they generally give out the PPR within the time frame (even last day) unless it is in deeper screening process.

I completely understand your viewpoints but honestly speaking I'm unable to make myself understand how some FSW applicants are receiving PPR within 19-30 days range whereas others are struggling as their files are moving slower than a snail. 6 months timeline is for everybody.

Just wanted to share some details of my application.
I saw that some people think that rcmp and additional docs slow down the process. However, I am not sure how true it is since we were not asked for rcmp or any other additional docs. We have only one PC from our native countries (which we left when we were less than 18.. - we didn't HAVE TO submit our PCC according to cic rules, but we did anyways to provide all the sufficient documents at once).

No updates, no requests...

May 4th AOR CEC inland.. stuck at n/A2 for more than 70 days... 120 days since AOR

I have called CIC just now. And unfortunately, it seems like both of the agents I talked were instructed to not even open our profile since the processing time is less than 6 months... so sad!:confused:

Well then, I guess May will be the one to actually hit 6-month timeline (considering the speed) if not more!!! o_O
Does anyone know if April applicants are also stuck for CEC stream?

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

#CEC #midMaySquad and actually ALL MAY!:)

Wow August 5 and already got the PR! under what program did you apply?
I applied under the normal express entry programme- federal skilled programme. with a CRS score of 414.
Did not receive any nomination from any region. i was also shocked to see the email as i have been following this thread for a while.
Had an agent do my documentation and filing.

Are you sure about it? If it is the case I have seen some PNP petition going on how are they doing it?
I am very carefully asking this. Can foreigners make formal petitions?
I believe only Canadian Citizens can make petitions. Not even PR.

Why did you do PEBC although you are an industrial pharmacist & dont need certification? WES would have been easier
Hi Needed ur guidance on this point.
I'm an Industrial pharmacist (3131). I have got my ECA through WES.

I got to know that Industrial Pharmacist comes under Regulated Jobs, so if I want to work in Formulation R&D or related department in Canada after I get my PR, do I need to go through PEBC and is Licensure required for the job search in Formulation or related departments.

Hey same here. 95 days since AOR and 31 days since IP2. Maybe you can email them to know your Visa Office.
I emailed them on 31st July and my BGC changed to IP2 on 1st Aug and got a standard reply on 3rd Aug.
Emailed again on 26th Aug and got the same standard reply on 29th Aug. They say IP2 to PPR is max 30 days. I so totally disagree!!!

The reply was 'our file is being processed at CPC Ottawa and is within regulatory timelines and cannot confirm when it will be ready for finalization' . Got the same reply both the times. Donno what they are doing since one month in IP2.

Its frustrating and unfair to see even August people getting their PPR . I am happy for them but guess even we deserve ours. 6 months timeline (regulatory timeline) should be applicable to everyone fairly!!!
As long as your are receiving the reply "as per our regulatory timelines" then have no fear. Believe me, if they are planning to delay you you will probably receive "needs additional verifications", even if you are in the beginning of the 6 months period!
Do not worry, I am in IP2 since 17th of July (almost 46 days).
