LPP was completed this morning!
Waiting on Ceremony…

question, I know they post the date to you but I’m currently in Australia on vacation. They will email right?
Yes, they will email you all the details so don't worry about that. Please note that you will have to be in Canada for the oath (even for virtual oaths).

So I got a ceremony invite on my tracker but no email. It’s been a few days and it says “waiting on you” do I have to confirm I can attend?
Is there a number I can call to contact them for the info. I know that it’s on the 10th Feb. I have booked flights back for this so I don’t want to get rescheduled.

what is the best number to contact the contact centres? I go in a loop trying to get a number online.

The email is sent later, closer to the ceremony date so don't worry about that you will get it soon. It will keep saying waiting on you until your Oath date so ignore that. The contact number is +1 888-242-2100 (accessible only from within Canada or from a Canadian number. You can use any app to get a Canadian number to call from aboard). The number is mostly busy so will take you a number of tries before you can talk to someone. Try it closer to opening time or closing time (8 AM to 4 PM local time based on your phone number). If you manage to talk to them, they can let you know if your ceremony is virtual or in-person.

I guess you pretty much tried everything you could, maybe you can raise a webform and see if that helps. Hopefully they look into completing the processing of your application soon and invite you for oath, fingers crossed!!

Hello All,

Is there anyone who is a May 2024 applicant, waiting for their LPP to complete?

Primary Office: Vancouver
Secondary Office: Surrey
Applied: May 18th 2024
AOR: May 23rd 2024

Joint application with my husband. We both completed test in mid-August but my result was not accepted and I was asked to attend an in-person interview on Oct 8, 2024. On Oct 10th, My Language, Prohibitions completed but only Physical Presence is pending. I have not had any updates so far.

My husband on the other hand, completed his test in mid-August and has not seen ANY movement on his application since.

We have applied for GCMS notes countless times, called the IRCC customer service line, spoken to our area MP but have had no luck at all.

Any tips on what we can do next would be really appreciated. Thank you.

You have done pretty much everything possible. Could you confirm if yours and your husband's BG is completed or still in-progress? Also, since your physical presence is still in progress, could you please confirm your physical presence days and if you have an exhaustive travel history? As that might indicate any reasons for the delay.

Did you find any info from your ATIP/GCMS notes? What does the "Location" say on your notes? I think it is somewhere on page 3 or 4.

Both of our BG is completed. My Prohibitions is also completed and his is still pending. My physical presence days were 1114 and his were around 1250 or so. I became a PR in July 2019 and moved to Vancouver in December 2020. So between 2019 and 2020, I've had trips to Canada while I spent majority of my time in US. After moving to Canada on PR in Dec 2020, we travelled 5 or 6 times in the eligible period but made sure we had enough buffer.

In ATIP notes, my Location says E-Grant Review Ready PM03 which I Think could be a review pending on a senior office or something? Not sure if I'm mistaken. I have one note on my ATIP response which says "ICES Requested" on 10th October. After that we received a request to submit passport copies which we did around the 14th and no updates after that.

Ok, now it makes a little sense on the delay an my guess was right, its related to the travel history. "ICES Requested" means the officer has requested the entry/exit detailed records from CBSA database as the officer has concerns about the physical presence. Most likely few of your travel records are either missing in CBSA or not adding up and he is waiting for the detailed records to match up with your physical presence and your passport scans. I hope you didn't miss any travel entries. Also you can download I-94 travel history and match up with what you have to make sure everything matches up.
And you are right, "E-Grant Review Ready PM03" means it is pending for review by a senior officer for complex cases.
