Hi, I applied for Super Visa for my parents 2 days ago. My father is the primary applicant. My mom got het acknowledgment letter and her UCI number got updated within a few hours, whereas my father’s UCI number has not been updated on the profile and not showing anywhere. It’s been 2 days. Do you think it is a glitch and I should wait? Or raise a webform? I used the new portal.

I think its a glitch. sometimes it can take upto a week. you can try calling the Ircc and ask the status.

I had the same issue while applying for visitor visa - Father's application took 2 days to get UCI updated

How do you do upfront medical? Do we need any document for that before we can do our medical?

Hi All,

I need some information if anybody can help on this.

I applied for my Mom's super visa through the old portal on 20th April and received a letter for Biometrics next day. Biometrics are done and uploaded on portal on 24th April. on 31st May, I received a letter for medical which says as:

Dear applicant,

This is in reference to your online application for a temporary resident visa. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Please contact the panel physician who conducted your medical examination to ensure all required tests were completed and that there are no outstanding requirements left to complete.

thank you for your interest you have shown in Canada.

I had never received any other letter for medical request and upfront medical was not done.

Now when my mom reached to panel physician (Max hospital, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi), they asked to reference letter and checked through UCI number and said that there is no any medical request yet.

On the other tracking portal, it is showing that they sent a letter and a document number is already available there.

Please note that my Mom has already a visitor visa valid for 3 more years and she has visited Canada 4-5 times in last 4 years.

I am not clear what to do now.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

How do you do upfront medical? Do we need any document for that before we can do our medical?

just book an appointment with any panel physician and tell them u wanna give upfront medical for ur visa. take ur passport with u.
