Hi, I apply my parents for visitor visa in IRCC portal from Philippines. Here is the timeline:

May 15 - Application Submission ( both )
May 15 - Confirmation Letter ( both )
May 15 - BIL ( both )
May 17 - Biometric done ( both )
May 29 - Biometric Completed ( father only )
June 11 - PPR & BVL ( father )
PPR only ( mother )

Applied may 15. Today Portal says we are reviewing eligibility but tracker says eligibility not started and tracker last update date is may 22

Applied on GCKEY for my Brother visitor Visa from the Philippines
Submitted -May 13
Biometrics invitation letter - May 13
Biometrics done and updated - May 19
Eligibility started - may 21
Eligibility completed - May 26
PPR - June 9

Wow that's so quick. I applied for my parents May 25th and they submitted biometrics on the 30th. I got a ghost update today but nothing changed on their application.

I just wanna share my timeline for my parents visa from India aswell.

Submitted - May 24
Mother's BIL - May 25
Father's BIL - May 31 (it took another 5 days)
Biometrics done and updated on - June 4th
Eligibility started and completed - June 8th (only on tracking site, my IRCC website shows eligibility and background still processing)
PPR and BVL - June 9th

I have only showed 8000 cad btw and both of my parents are unemployed. I didn't had any hope but still they are approved.

The latest appointment date we are getting is 27th June from Islamabad, Pakistan

Any advice/tip is appreciated

Because Application processing starts when bio are revieved!!

How many days eligibility taking these days to complete on visitor’s visa application??

I have a question.

My wife applied for a TRV on June 3rd, 2023 and she completed her biometrics on June 6th, 2023.

I checked the Application Tracker today and it says Eligibility is completed and Background Verification is in progress. If it was rejected, would the Background Verification change to "in progress"?
