Does anyone know how to call the 888 242 2100 number? every time I called, and input my UCI and after a series of selections, it always said, ' we are currently experiencing high volume calls and unable to transfer you to an agent.' then the call is hang up.

I got through at 3:30 the other day, often find calling right before a place closes (4pm for them) tends to be less busy.

Thanks for the reply, I got through this afternoon. But the agent didn’t provide enough information. Mostly like generic answers. How about you? Do you think call them can help know much about the detailed status?

I did and it's a bit confusing to follow, but yes my file seems to have transferred from MTL Citizenship (primary office) to CPC Sydney (secondary office).

I don't know if ordering GCMS notes made a difference, but I saw activity on my account after requesting it. Likely a coincidence, but putting it out there.

Great, thanks for the info. I have very similar timelines and my file also got transferred to CPC Sydney. Fingers crossed for some movement to happen soon, but I am also not keeping my hopes too high with the randomness of ircc.

No, very generic answers, they can't tell you much about the status of your file. They confirmed that they weren't waiting on anything from me and that it was still well within their "normal processing window."

Thank you so much! It seems like the interview was a routine step for all adult applications before covid and now they're starting to bring it back.
