Good for you, we’re just trying to figure out what causing the delay in our process! Sometimes I wonder what the criteria is for a faster process? Is it the agent that thinks you’re more “valuable” as a citizen or is it gender related? Why our straight forward applications take forever when someone with 1095 gets oath after 4 month!!!!! Something is not right here!
It’s the will of the case officer processing the file.

Not true ... my wife was asked for additional document to verify her travel history for US and her physical presence was updated 2 days later, and everything has since then been completed pending oath.
AOR - June 9th
BG - July 5th
Prohibitions & Language - July 26th
Physical Presence - July 28th
Test Date - Gave August 11th and Updated complete on August 14th.
GU - August 18th
Good to know. Goodluck to her. I'm sure the ghost update she got is the oath scheduling. I had a GU July 21 and nothing since then.

Looks like everyone else is feeling impatient haha

Applied May 12
Test complete update July 11
And radio silence ever since..

I am sure our turn will come eventually.
I just wish the processing was done in some order.

It sounds like your processing just depends on which agent is handling your case, how long of a queue they have, and how fast they are.
That's just my theory.

I know it's frustrating for folks, but think about the sheer volume of applications that the officers are processing at the moment. And if anyone else got PR during covid, you'll remember how things ground to a halt and took years to get through the system. If I ever get frustrated by the apparent lack of anything happening, I just remember how grateful I am to have PR and to have an opportunity to be granted citizenship in Canada. Not everyone has that opportunity.

Hey folks, would you mind sharing if you uploaded the entire passport (all pages including blank ones) for online applications? It looks like there are various different opinions about it but I'm hoping if you could share your personal experience. (And if you had to upload it, how do you make it smaller than 4mb?)

Thanks so much!

Some people did.. and some people didn't. If you follow the exact instructions, it only asks for data/bio page... I believe paper application folks get asked for all pages... the choice is yours if you are applying online and want to add it.
To compress it smaller than 4mb, Google "compress file/documents" and use any of the top links to compress your documents. Goodluck

Hello everyone,
Received a request for interview yesterday, I guess I am the first one to post this here in the forum amongst the May 2023 applicants. My timeline is as follows:
1- App submitted: May 4 2023
2- AOR: May 27 2023
3- Fingerprint request: Jul 2 2023
4- Test Invite: Jul 14 2023
5- Test Interview Date: Jul 14 2023
6- Test Complete: Jul 19 2023
7- Fingerprint received Jul 20 2023
8- BG Completed: Jul 21 2023
9- Interview Request: Aug 21 2023
10- LPP: In Progress
11- Oath: Not Started

They didnt ask for any certain documents in my interview, just the original documents I used in my online application. Any idea why I received an interview or any advice/tips? Thanks!

Sounds like good news to me. Your LPP most likely will complete after the interview. Keep us updated. Goodluck

Thanks! Happy to hear it could be good news, is that based on some other experiences you heard about?
Yes. Especially as all that is left is LPP... from others experiences, LPP usually turns green same day, next day or after a few days. However, there are people that waited much longer than that. But let's think positive... some people have also been asked if they are ready to take the oath same day during their interview... For the most part it's usually positive.
