As far as your invitation is online ceremony, You can attend anywhere from Canada.

I got the LLP done the same time, but haven’t received any update about oath. How long usually it takes after LPP to oath?

Same with me, LPP was done on 21st Feb and no update after.

I called IRCC today, and asked about my application. They say it is with Scarborough office and right now within processing times. So no action is being taken on the file at the moment.
LPP was completed on Feb 10th and Oath still not started.

Anyone knows how long Scarborough office takes to issue Oath Invites ?

I contacted my MP last week to get an update on my application. My update is that there has been no update since last July that I completed my test! My background check is still at the security clearance stage since June. LPP not even started I want to be mad but it is just to ridiculous that makes me laugh! I mean, if the security clearance takes another 10 or 20 months there is still NOTHING that I can do!! What a broken system!!

It used to take 8 months, then 9, then 10. I guess the new trend is 11? Go Canada!

Yes, security screening is part of both background check and prohibition.
