Has anybody else had an ADR for the IMM5406 'additional family information' form? IRCC requested it twice from me even though I'm a single applicant and there were no mistakes on the first submission. I inquired via webform and have not heard anything back.

It may be a good idea to attach the ADR and send it via webform also. This is in addition to loading it via GCKey.

My nephew got a request for the same ADR twice too.

It seems like the background check is going to be the hang-up for me. And biometrics is also still in progress which boggles my mind.
I'd say that's still better than eligibility not started, which means that my case has not even been picked up for evaluation yet.

Quick question, how much do the eligibility last to be completed in normal situations?
Cauz I saw people here in the forum saying it was completed the same day it started.

From what we've seen, it usually takes around a week or 2. But for those who had it done on the same day, I guess that would probably be due to a delay in updating the tracker. So technically, the eligibility check was started before it was reflected into the tracker.

I don't know what normal means anymore. But, it can be done in the same day if there's nothing really needed to verify your MEC (minimum eligibility criteria). Getting completed in the same day isn't very common though. But we are seeing it becoming a bit more frequent than what it was before.

Hi

AOR : 27 May

2 months ago I had a herniated disc which I mentioned to the doctor in the upfront medical exam, but when submitting my profile I answered No when asked if I've ever had a serious condition.
I'm doing well now and so was I when I had the medical exam.

Should I have answered Yes ?

Should I raise a web form and explain or no need ?

Thanks

Since you wrote here, replying here instead of the DM. I'd have suggested something, if we had seen enough cases here. We don't have many cases here.

We can't DIY when we have seen those cases or when we can't say if something is a condition to begin with: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/health-concerns/diseases-conditions.html

E.g I have a health condition that I thought was serious enough, I took a 30 minute call with a RCIC to ask about that and 2-3 other questions I had. I got my answers and marked "No". As my health condition didn't qualify to be a "Serious Condition".

Post a separate thread on this topic under EE and see if someone reliable answers it. If you still don't get an answer, a lawyer or a RCIC consultant is probably the best :)

Thanks a lot. Appreciate it.
