I was told I need not do that again for another 10 years or so, will I get a biometric request again?

Hello. I got upfront medicals. I also had my Biometrics linked from a previous application.

No, if you and your dependants(if any) are inland, you will be virtually landed. You don't need a single entry TRV to enter Canada. You'll get portal email 1 instead and will be issued an eCoPR.

Yes. You can travel without a visa (that's the whole point of PR ). Even for outland applicants, we only get a single entry TRV that can't be used again - we have to use either our PR cards (or a PRTD, if we have no PR card).

No, as I already gave my biometrics for my Work permit, it didn't ask for it again.
