Is UCI or File number mentioned in the email? Or did they not assign anything to you applicationI received an email later. I uploaded the birth certificate accidentally in the spot for police clearance certificate
IMM 5406 needs to be filled separately for both PA and Sponsor. Which one did you forgot, yours or your spouse?Would you re-apply for the visitor visa now that you have received
Hi, it should be mentioned in the email it self. My wife's application was returned as well and it did contain the reason for return like below:
Please note your application has been rejected for the following reason:
Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
- Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) not included/missing.
It's only the principal applicants who fills the IMM5406. They state that on both the website as well as the checklist, the sponsor does not fill IMM5406IMM 5406 needs to be filled separately for both PA and Sponsor. Which one did you forgot, yours or your spouse?
Same old reason that they give to everyone. Not convinced that he will go back to India and also has more ties in Canada. I mean this whole process is dumb. Going to see your wife isn’t convincing enough apparently. And no we are not applying again for visitor visa.I am also curious to know what reason did they mention in the rejection letter?
the form was filled in and not sure why they returned it! but anyways, we did resubmit.. We only filled in the 5406 for the spouse not the sponsor. and as long as I know.. sponsor is not required to fill that form..IMM 5406 needs to be filled separately for both PA and Sponsor. Which one did you forgot, yours or your spouse?
We did not create a new profile. We only re-summited what they had asked for (in my case it was the IMM 5406 form). Everything else was marked as 'reviewed' so we kept that as-is. Only additional thing we did was to re-sign the forms with recent date. Still waiting for AOR now.For those who reapplied, did you all completely created a new profile with dates and signature on the all forms updated.?
I know its senseless right! as I posted before, my lawyer had advised me not to apply for her visitor visa until we receive the sponsorship approval. (just to keep the slate clean). Lawyer also said that applying visitor visa straight away (without receiving Sponsorship approval) shows desperation and creates scrutiny on the PR application (that also does not make sense).Same old reason that they give to everyone. Not convinced that he will go back to India and also has more ties in Canada. I mean this whole process is dumb. Going to see your wife isn’t convincing enough apparently. Yes, your lawyer's point does not make a lot of sense.Lawyer also said that applying visitor visa straight away (without receiving Sponsorship approval) shows desperation and creates scrutiny on the PR application (that also does not make sense).
For me they asked for PCC. I accidentally uploaded birth certificate on that spot. So under pcc,it shows ready to submit after I reuploaded. Do you have any idea how long it can take to get an AOR once resubmitted? What I heard is another 3 months. We did not create a new profile. We only re-summited what they had asked for (in my case it was the IMM 5406 form). Everything else was marked as 'reviewed' so we kept that as-is. Only additional thing we did was to re-sign the forms with recent date. Still waiting for AOR now.
Also the application that I submitted was spousal sponsorship family class- Outland onlineFor me they asked for PCC. I accidentally uploaded birth certificate on that spot. On which portal did you re-submitted these? For me they asked for PCC. I accidentally uploaded birth certificate on that spot. So under pcc,it shows ready to submit after I reuploaded. Do you have any idea how long it can take to get an AOR once resubmitted? What I heard is another 3 months.
Maybe you didn't wrote names in your Native language unless your native language is English. Says right on top of that form "Complete ALL names in English and in your native language"the form was filled in and not sure why they returned it! but anyways, we did resubmit.. We only filled in the 5406 for the spouse not the sponsor. and as long as I know.. sponsor is not required to fill that form..
I haven't resubmitted yet. But i am planning to resubmit on Permanent residence portalOn which portal did you re-submitted these?
