It's called ghost update. The updated date changes in the tracker but there is no real update.

When was your application delivered to IRCC? Mississauga these days are having in person oath ceremony. You could be part of one too. Wait for the email which would have details of the same.

My application was delivered on May 3, 2022 and the AOR was a week later.
 
Hi Guys,

Please find my information below:

Application Received: May 3, 2022
Additional Information Required: November 1, 2022
Background verification completed: November 4, 2022

They requested for a name change doc and Indian passport with the new name. After getting married in India, I never changed my last name officially. Therefore, I sent IRCC an email explaining that I do not have an official name change document yet and to get one, it might take more than 60 days. In addition, I emailed them my marriage certificate requesting to consider that, if possible. However, I did mention that if they are not okay with the marriage certificate, I am okay to have my maiden name on the certificate.

Did I do the right thing? Has anyone experienced anything like this in this group? When should I hear from them next? Is this going to delay my process?
 
Hey everyone, May applicant here - Online, Single, Toronto. Have not received the GU yet, but just noticed my account has been updated on Nov 11. The date on the top right of the tracker. Is this what happens after y'all get your GUs?
